Our Story

Hi, I'm Jamie, founder of Chronically Offline Co.

It started with a simple thought: real life is cool.

At first, it felt like just a phrase.
Maybe an Instagram post.
Then it felt like something bigger.
Something worth wearing.

So I sat down and started iterating.
Designing.
Refining the visual language.

And when I finally put that phrase on a sand-colored hat, I thought: I need that. Now.

Because not everything needs to live on a screen.
Some things are better said in actual life.
Passed between people.
Noticed in line at a coffee shop.
Complimented by a stranger.

A small spark of connection.

Every time I wear one of these hats out into my daily life, something happens.

The woman working at Sprouts reads the Call My Landline hat and says, “I love your hat. Gosh, does anyone even remember landlines anymore?” We laugh about it.

A guy heading into the gym stops my husband to tell him he loves the Calabasas cap he’s wearing. A spark of joy passed between two strangers.

A woman in her 20s, watching my husband and I take endless photos in Calabasas, stops me to say, “I love those hats.” She writes the company name down.

These aren’t just hats.

They’re worldview signifiers.
Connectors.
Conversation starters.
Gifts that say: I see you.

Phrases like:

Look at the moon.
Call your mom.
Dance ’til midnight.
Bring back whimsy.
Meet me in Malibu.

Small things.
Human things.

Made to be worn out into your actual life—running errands, taking a walk, meeting a friend.

Simple things.

Wear your worldview.

Be chronically offline.

Because real life is cool.

💛

A Little More About Me

I’m a four-time published author, and my writing has been read and shared millions of times.

Over the years, I’ve written for and been featured in places like HuffPost, Teen Vogue, Complex, and Forbes.

I’m a creative entrepreneur at heart, and my career has spanned everything from bestselling courses to an iOS app—featuring inspiring iPhone wallpapers—that was downloaded 150,000 times in its first two weeks.

I’ve spent years writing about what it means to be human.

This is the first time I’ve made something people can wear in their actual life.

I’ve always believed: life is meant for living.

It’s been at the heart of every novel I’ve written, every digital course I’ve created, every vignette I’ve shared on Instagram—every piece of my creative work I’ve put into the world.

Chronically Offline Co. is an expansion of that universe.

I’ve had the time of my life bringing it to fruition with my husband, which makes it even more meaningful to me.

When we go out in LA to take photos, we’re connecting with each other—and every time we’re out with the hats, people stop us to talk about them.

We live and breathe the brand ethos.

Real life is cool.

It really is, isn’t it?
